Irene Davidson Fisher had no idea she would begin a whole new career at age 65, but that is exactly what she did. During Irene’s career, she put words in other people’s mouths writing scripts and speeches, to name a few mediums. Today Irene uses these skills to bring her real and imaginary characters to life.
Irene is a graduate of the University of Alberta and the Institute of Children’s Literature’ Basic and Advanced Programmes. Irene is a member of the Muskoka Author’s Association (MAA) and Haliburton Highlands Writer’s and Editor’s Network (HHWEN).
Irene loves reading stories to children and adults. Irene has made guest appearances at various Ontario locations, including Dorset, the Haliburton Highlands and Georgetown l Irene has also been featured on Author’s Day at the Ajax Chapters/Indigo Book Store.
Irene’s is a published a published author and Percival Penguin Goes Skating is her forth children’s story. (It teaches through example the power of determination and the value of things that money cannot buy”). Her books include: Robbie Raccoon and The Big Black Blob (about an adventurous Raccoon), The Best Present Ever (a Christmas story), Treasures From The Deep (about the special bond between children and their Grandparents).
